The MSHSL Boys Basketball State Tournament starts today with action in 2A, 3A and 4A.  In 3A today, Grand Rapids plays Marshall.  In tomorrow's quarterfinals in 1A, Nevis plays Springfield while Red Lake plays Minneapolis North.  

With 9 games left to play in the regular season, the Wild were in the midst of a season-long five-game losing streak entering Tuesday’s tilt against the Sharks having won just two out of nine games in the month of March.  They won last night, though 3-2.  Minnesota and San Jose combined to score the fastest four goals in Wild history over the final two minutes of the second period.  Four goals found the back of the net in just 63 seconds.  Devin Dubnyk finished with 21 saves and established a new career high with 37 victories, tying Niklas Backstrom's single-season franchise record.

Get ready for a new look and logo from the Timberwolves next season.  The Wolves announced Tuesday that a new logo will be unveiled during halftime of their April 11 game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. It’s the final home game of the season and every fan in attendance will get a t-shirt featuring the new look.  In addition to a new logo, the Wolves will introduce new uniforms and court designs in the coming months.
